The original concept for Motus in Motu. Creating water by hand is not exactly a straightforward task, particularly for a project that will not only be rendered, but 3D printed as well. Fortunately, my preivious work on the Pandores bag taught me valuable lessons on how to capture liquid in a solid form.

Some of the revision comments provided to me by Stella. As previously mentioned, the shape was the key challenge in creating Motus in Motu, particularly getting the false vamp to sit as it should just above the real one.

The final render of Motus in Motu. The vamp is smoothed out, and the form is crisp and defined. The only thing left, was translating the model to one that could be 3D printed.

And here is the final printed version. The only thing that did not translate to the print was the ring, however, the core form translated beautifully.
